DESCRIPTION:
E. Ingraham & Co., Bristol, Conn., "Octagon Doric, Mosaic" mantel clock with a 30 hours, spring driven, time, strike and alarm movement, c1874.
CONDITION:
The case has some original finish. The original paper dial is darkened and scuffed. The hands are old but not correct for this model. Movement is signed. Both door glasses are original. The lower gilt design tablet (a process patented by Elias Ingraham) needs rebacking. Ht 15 1/2".
